• Finished acrylic putty
• White water-based paint
• Kohler
• Spatula, brush
• Foam roller

Naturally, the surface must be leveled with putty and treated with a primer before application. After the wall is completely dry, you can start decorating.
Using a wide spatula, apply a layer of finishing putty no thicker than 2 mm. Do not process the entire surface at once, otherwise the putty will simply dry out. It is optimal to apply a layer of about a square meter.
Next, take a newspaper sheet and crumple it well.
Apply paper to a layer of fresh putty, thereby creating a «wrinkled» pattern.
After that, apply putty to the next part of the wall and repeat the steps. Leave the surface to dry completely.
Take sandpaper and lightly sand the drawing, just to smooth out the protruding parts.
Dilute white water-based paint with color — this will be the base coat. It can be made either darker or lighter than the second layer, which must be applied on top of the first. Roll the base layer onto the surface with a foam roller in such a way as to paint over all the recesses of the pattern.
Now prepare a new dye. In this case, white paint was added to the first mixture to make it lighter. After the base has dried, you can apply a light second layer. Do this with a sponge, lightly touching the surface with quick, frequent movements.
Leave until completely dry. Decorative wall decoration in the form of a crinkled fabric is ready. If desired, you can cover the surface with varnish or wax.
This decor looks elegant and “thin”, ideal for rooms with soft modern eco-design. The surface is pleasant and smooth to the touch, and thanks to the two-tone painting it looks voluminous and very original.
